Beautifully hand moulded from the soil found close to termite hills. A limited amount of moulding can be done on each pot per day - taking about 3 to 4 days to complete. Pots are baked in a hot pit oven covered with plenty firewood. A length process but the end product is definitely worth it. These pots form part of Zimbabweans day to day living in some rural areas as they are used for cooking, drinking and storage purposes.  These unique pottery techniques have been passed down through generations of mostly women.
